The best email of your week

Growth Hacks

#1. 7 creative tips and tools from a Creative Director

Carly Lieberman, Creative Director for Sharma Brands, shares her top tips and tools for building better creatives:

  1. Test ads organically, then amplify with a budget

  2. Utilize tools like Motion for digital and Tatari for TV analytics to make decisions based on data

  3. Repurpose content tagged by customers using Refunnel

  4. Save captivating ads you come across to inspire elements in your future campaigns

  5. Match ad creative to landing pages

  6. Double down on your top 5 ads by creating multiple variations with tools like Recharm

  7. Run positive press mentions as ads to make the most of earned media

#2: Show and tell without the ask

Instead of directly asking for engagement or business, just showcase your success stories. A tweet or LinkedIn post highlighting a recent achievement or client success can serve as a more authentic invitation for leads to explore your services, rather than ending that with a not-so-subtle DM request.

Here's how it can work for different types of businesses:

eCommerce: Share screenshots of positive reviews or testimonials on your social platforms. It's a non-intrusive way to signal the quality and satisfaction associated with your products, encouraging more purchases.

SaaS: Share stories of how you eased a complex transition for a client, like migrating CRM data. This subtly signals to potential customers that you can alleviate pain points associated with switching to your solution.

Agencies: Share a tweet or post highlighting a real client's success following your agency’s services. This not only demonstrates your capability but can also attract leads facing similar challenges.

#3. Show the likes for 49% more sales

Here’s an underutilized slice of social proof that’s been shown to boost sales: showcasing social media likes right next to your product.

A study revealed that flaunting the number of likes and including some profile photos of the admirers significantly increases sales.

In one example with a German eCommerce giant, adding social media likes:

- Increased revenue by nearly 8%

- Generated an additional $0.26 per like

- Led to a 49% sales surge outside regular workdays

So integrate a feature on your product pages to display the number of social media likes along with some profile pictures of the likers. And encourage even more engagement by sharing your success stories and product benefits across social channels.
